#AskAnArchivist Day

October is American Archives Month, and the celebrations will kick off this year with Ask An Archivist Day on October 4th. Archivists across the country will be fielding questions all day on Twitter using the hashtag #AskAnArchivist. If you have a burning question about archives, this is your opportunity to ask a community of archivists!

Have you ever wondered if you should donate your records to an archive?

Why you need to wear white gloves when handling photographs?

How you should protect your photos and records?

What is the wildest thing an archivist has found in a collection?

Ask these or any other questions by participating in the #AskAnArchivist day on Twitter, or email the NCAR Archivist at archives@ucar.edu
