Facilities for Atmospheric Research Cover Art

Facilities for Atmospheric Research launched in 1966 and included articles on field projects, facilities, instrumentation, computing, and other scientific developments. The covers featured striking artwork to represent one of the articles in every issue. Staff in the NCAR Graphics department collaborated with scientists and engineers to create the illustrations.
